The Medium the University of Toronto Mississauga's longest student-run publication. The student newspaper began as the The Erindalian in 1968 when the campus was known as Erindale College. The purpose of the newspaper was to present news and opinions relevant to the Erindale College community, to celebrate the achievements of community members, and to foster communication between all levels of the College. The newspaper provided coverage of student politics, activities, and campus events, and featured original poetry and cartoons.

The Erindalian ran from Volume 1, Issue 1 (November 14,1968) to Volume 6, Issue 10 (December 4, 1973) when the newspaper was renamed to the Medium II. 

The Medium II ran from Volume 1, Issue 1 (September 19, 1974) to Volume 21, Number 25 (April 3, 1995).

The Medium ran from Volume 22, Issue 1 (July/August, 1995) to the present. We have not yet added holdings from 1999 onwards and are working on digitizing missings issues in our current online holdings from 1968 to 1999.
