Since the opening of the first Erindale College Library, the University of Toronto Mississuaga (UTM) Library has acquired records and artifacts dating from the establishment of the campus in 1967 to the present day. In 2006, the Library moved into the Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre and established the UTM Archive on the fourth floor to hold the archives and special collections in support of curricula and research on campus.

The UTM Library, Archives & Special Collections’ mandate is to acquire, preserve, arrange, describe and provide access to rare and unique materials that support curricula and research at the UTM, materials documenting the history of the UTM campus, and material documenting Mississauga’s communities.
